Event Details

Separate from the Mentoring Program, this one-day event is available to administrators beginning the first year in their position, whether brand new or transitioning to a different role. 

Intended Outcomes: Through participation in this institute, you will…

  1. Cultivate a professional learning network;

  2. Connect with Area Education Agency Resources and identify your go-to people;

  3. Set the foundation to pursue a quality leadership-life fit;

  4. Access the expertise of practicing principals with your questions;

  5. Ensure your licensure and your leadership practice are in alignment with the BoEE rules and regulations and the law;

  6. Identify strategies and tools for working with challenging people;

  7. Set the stage for effective teacher evaluation; 

  8. Gain tips and tricks to manage time and prioritize; 

  9. Recognize basic A.I. tools and how they can support your leadership; and

  10. Revisit key legal considerations for the start of the year.
