2023-24 SAI Mentor Credit

This credit option is available to those who have satisfied at least 15 hours engaged in the activities expected of a mentor as articulated under the “Mentor Expectations” section of the SAI Mentoring and Induction Participant Expectations document. 

By registering for this credit, you are confirming you have spent at least 15 total hours participating in any of the following. 

• Mentor training session.
• Mentor orientation and training webinar.  
• Statewide meetings with your mentee (5 total) 
• Weekly contact with your mentee. 
• Monthly face-to-face visits with your mentee.  
• Reading and reviewing monthly editions of Mentoring Matters. 
• Completing the monthly data collection tool. 
• Visiting your mentee’s school.  
• Hosting your mentee at your school.  
• Providing feedback after statewide meetings and upon the completion of the program to assist with program evaluation.
